Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Seasonal Service Team Member for our Chico, CA store. You will help customers shop, locate products, and provide a fast, friendly checkout experience while supporting merchandise flow and in-store processes.

You will assist with unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining planograms, ensuring a well-merchandised and in-stock environment. Flexible hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings; some outdoor work may be required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop and locate products.
• Ensure fast and friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain store recovery standards and support SOPs and company policies.
• Promote rewards program enrollments and VOC surveys.
• Support Omni channel processes like Buy Online Pick Up In Store and Ship From Store.
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Perform store in-stock optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
