Job summary

Carter's Inc. is hiring a Seasonal Associate to be the first friendly face for families shopping for baby and children’s apparel. You’ll greet customers, explain product features, and help families prepare for school days and everyday moments in a welcoming environment.

In this role you’ll resolve issues, manage multiple customers, process transactions, assist with stock and promotions, and contribute to a clean, safe store. Availability including weekends and holidays is often needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with product styles and benefits.
• Resolve customer issues proactively and balance multiple customers in store.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Handle sales transactions at the point of sale/register.
• Support floor replenishment and shipments as needed.
• Explain promotions and the brand loyalty program to customers, including credit options.
• Help minimize store loss through excellent service and store upkeep.
