Job summary

Carter’s is hiring a Seasonal Associate to be the first friendly face customers meet, helping with baby essentials and school prep needs. You will resolve issues, guide shoppers, and support omnichannel shopping to ensure a smooth experience.

You’ll also handle POS transactions and keep shelves stocked and organized. This role supports a busy retail environment with duties that include promoting promotions, maintaining store safety, and engaging with families.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods and to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with product styles, features and benefits.
• Resolve customer issues confidently and balance multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Process point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Execute floor replenishment and shipments as required.
• Explain promotions and loyalty programs, including credit, to customers.
• Minimize losses by delivering excellent service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
