Job summary

Michaels is seeking a team member for its Des Moines/Akeny area to help customers shop, find products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance to keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience and can engage customers with the Rewards program and credit card enrollments while following SOPs and safety guidelines. Some shifts require nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in finding products and providing solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and engage with omni-channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Stocking, truck unloads, and maintaining planograms.
