Job summary

Kohl’s is hiring for a customer-facing associate role focused on point-of-sale and customer services processes. You will greet customers, operate cash registers, scan items, and manage payments while delivering a fast and friendly service experience.

You will contribute to inventory accuracy, support training of new hires, and participate in daily POS and service routines. Ideal candidates are flexible with shifts, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle payments.
• Provide fast, courteous, and accurate point-of-sale and customer service.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist in training new hires on POS procedures and Kohl’s brand standards.
• Participate in daily service processes such as register balancing and replenishment.
