Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Austin, TX is hiring a Retail Seasonal Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers, and run quick, accurate checkouts. The role includes unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and keeping planograms in order, with responsibilities across in-store operations, BOPIS and SFS processes, and daily merchandise upkeep.

You’ll promote the Rewards program, support safety and SOPs, and work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy boxes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Support store recovery and merchandise presentation; participate in SISO and AD sets.
• Engage customers on Rewards and private label programs; enroll customers when appropriate.
• Participate in omni-channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
