Job summary

The Michaels Companies is hiring for seasonal, part-time positions at our Gastonia store in North Carolina. Join a team dedicated to helping customers shop, find products, and enjoy a fast, friendly checkout experience.

You’ll assist with unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and maintaining floor recovery, while supporting omnichannel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and handle cash to standards.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Participate in Omni-channel processes such as BOPIS and Ship From Store.
• Support store recovery, in-stock optimization, and floor maintenance.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.
