Job summary

Kohl's is seeking an associate to deliver outstanding customer service at the point of sale and through customer service processes. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle payments while maintaining Kohl’s brand standards.

You will work to meet goals such as credit and loyalty, support inventory accuracy, and participate in daily service tasks. Flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting them and assisting with products and services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and process payments.
• Execute POS and customer service standards quickly and courteously.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy through POS and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist in training new service team members and promote Kohl’s brand standards.
• Participate in daily service processes (register balancing, change orders, restocking).
