Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking an associate to deliver exceptional customer service at the point of sale and support services that drive an efficient, friendly shopping experience. You will greet customers, operate the register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle payments while aligning with Kohl’s brand standards.

You will contribute to daily service processes, assist in training new hires, and help maintain inventory accuracy with a strong emphasis on safety and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and ability to multitask with attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and handle payments.
• Execute POS and customer service standards accurately and efficiently.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy through POS and merchandise disposal practices.
• Assist in training new hires on service processes and Kohl’s standards.
• Participate in daily service processes (register balancing, change orders, replenishment).
• Maintain safety and comply with company policies.
