Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking an associate to deliver excellent customer service at the point of sale, assisting customers with products and services, operating a cash register, and handling payments to ensure fast, friendly service. You’ll engage customers, meet goals, support inventory and training, and participate in daily service processes while upholding Kohl’s brand standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Verbal and written communication abilities.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with products and services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and handle payments.
• Execute POS and customer service standards quickly and courteously.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist in training new hires on service procedures and Kohl’s standards.
• Participate in daily service processes (cash balancing, change orders, replenishment).
• Act with integrity and foster teamwork; follow policies and safety rules.
