Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a customer-focused Retail Associate at our Memphis, TN location. You will assist customers, process transactions, and help maintain a stocked, well-merchandised store.

Responsibilities include supporting store operations, enrollments in rewards programs, and contributing to a positive shopping experience across in-store and omnichannel channels. Flexibility for varied shifts and a high-energy environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers with the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain store recovery, stock, and merchandise presentation.
• Support shrink and safety programs as directed.
