Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Seasonal Retail Service Team Member in Otsego, MN. This part-time position involves helping customers, ensuring a fast checkout, and supporting store operations such as unloading trucks and stocking to keep the shelves full and well organized.

As a team member, you will promote store programs, assist with omni-channel services like BOPIS and SFS, and participate in store recovery and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand long periods, lift and move heavy boxes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop for products.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance to keep shelves in stock and well merchandised.
• Engage customers about store programs, such as rewards and private label cards, and enroll where appropriate.
• Support omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Assist with store recovery, shrink and safety programs, and adherence to SOPs and company policies.
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production as needed.
