Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a seasonal team member in Dayton to deliver friendly service, help customers, and ensure a smooth checkout experience. You will participate in stocking, merchandising, and planogram duties while supporting omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

Candidates should have retail or customer service experience, be comfortable standing long hours, and be available nights and weekends. Minimum age is 16, with benefits offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old and able to stand long periods.
• Able to lift and move items as part of the job, including stock and supplies.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop and find products.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with proper cash handling.
• Assist with stocking, merchandising, and planogram execution.
• Support BOPIS and Ship From Store processes when needed.
• Uphold SOPs, safety rules, and company policies.
• Engage with customers and promote store programs and surveys.
