Job summary

Michaels Stores in Roanoke (Tanglewood) is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in finding products. You will ensure fast, friendly checkout, handle cash, and participate in store operations from truck unloading to merchandising.

The role involves assisting with BOPIS/SFS, rewards enrollments, and commitment to store standards and safety. Evening/weekend availability is common in retail roles.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and store maintenance to keep shelves in stock and well-merchandised.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs.
