Job summary

Michaels Stores in Goshen, IN is seeking a friendly store associate to help customers find products, answer questions, and complete fast, accurate checkouts. You will warmly engage shoppers, upsell where appropriate, and ensure a clean, well stocked sales floor.

Responsibilities include stocking, unloading trucks, following planograms, participating in BOPIS and Ship From Store, supporting shrink and safety programs, and upholding Michaels rewards enrollments.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Recover merchandise and maintain stock; manage returns and go-back process.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact respectfully and be a role model.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
