Job summary

Michaels Stores Beckley, WV is hiring for a store team member. You will help customers, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining in-stock conditions while supporting omnichannel services like BOPIS and SFS.

Team members assist with merchandise recovery, safety programs, and adherence to SOPs. The role requires standing, basic math for checkout, and a positive store environment.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise, including returns and go backs.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies.
