Job summary

Michaels Stores in Bangor, ME is seeking a friendly Store Associate to help customers locate products and provide solutions. You’ll ensure a fast, friendly checkout and handle cash accurately.

You will assist with stocking, truck unloads, and planograms, while maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store. Experience in retail or customer service is preferred; overtime and shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Educate customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain a well-merchandised and in-stock store through merchandise recovery and returns
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs; interact respectfully and be a positive role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
