Job summary

Michaels PORTLAND - JANTZEN BEACH is seeking a friendly store team member to help customers find products, answer questions, and deliver efficient checkout experiences. You will participate in stock, receiving, and store recovery tasks to keep the shop well merchandised and in stock.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to assist customers, answer questions and provide solutions.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planograms
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact positively with customers and team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
