Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store associate in Hot Springs, AR to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service and a fast checkout experience. You will help customers find products, enroll them in the Rewards program, and assist with online orders and in-store pickups. The role involves stocking, merchandising, and adherence to store standards.

A team-friendly, safety-conscious attitude is essential. This position may require standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and shifting include nights

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Lift heavy boxes and access high shelves as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience; handle cash to standards.
• Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; enroll customers.
• Educate customers on VOC survey and participate in feedback.
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store processes.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, and maintain planograms (POGs).
• Complete merchandise recovery and store recovery to stay in-stock and well-merchandised.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact positively with team members and serve as a role model.
