Job summary

Michaels Stores in Prince Frederick, MD is seeking a friendly Store Associate to help customers locate products, answer questions, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience.

You will assist with merchandising, stocking, and store recovery and participate in omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, can stand for long periods, and enjoy working in a team environment with a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old.
• Able to lift and carry boxes and stock shelves.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Engage customers in rewards programs and enroll them when appropriate.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram compliance.
• Support store recovery, merchandise returns, and in-stock levels.
• Contribute to shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs.
