Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Lafayette, IN seeks a Seasonal Service Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and store recovery to keep the store well merchandised.

The role requires physical work including standing, lifting, and climbing ladders for stocking. Candidates should have retail or customer service experience and be at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy boxes as part of daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) execution and store recovery to stay well-merchandised and in stock.
• Support Omni-channel processes and participate in SISO/AD set duties as assigned.
