The Michaels team in Reading, PA is hiring a store associate to assist customers, keep shelves stocked, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will handle cash and engage shoppers in rewards programs while supporting omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes and reach high shelves.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with standard cash handling
• Engage customers in rewards and private label enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC and surveys
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store processes
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain in-stock store and merchandise recovery
• Support store safety and shrink programs
• Follow SOPs and company policies
