Michaels is hiring a team member in Billings, MT to assist customers, handle checkout, and support store operations. You will participate in BOPIS/SFS processes, stocking, and merchandising, with opportunities to cross-train in Custom Framing.

The role requires a friendly demeanor, reliability, and a willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings. We value experience in retail or customer service and provide benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and handle cash to standard.
• Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes (POGs).
• Complete merchandise recovery and returns processing; maintain in-stock and well-merchandised store.
• Support Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties.
• Assist shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact professionally with customers; uphold company vision and values; be a role model.
• Cross training in Custom Framing selling and production.
