Job summary

Michaels Stores in Normal, IL is seeking a customer-focused Store Team Member to assist guests, stock shelves, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You’ll engage shoppers, support Omni-channel services, and maintain store recovery standards to uphold our brand promises.

Responsibilities include helping customers locate products, processing transactions, enrolling guests in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards, and cooperating with the framing department as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experiences with accurate cash handling
• Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll customers
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and collect feedback
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram setup
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise presentation to ensure in-stock status
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs
• Collaborate with team and cross-train in Custom Framing selling/production
