Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Part Time Seasonal Team Member in Newport, KY to assist customers, operate a fast and friendly checkout, and help unload trucks and stock merchandise. You will also support in-store processes like BOPIS and SFS, and participate in rewards and VOC initiatives.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, are comfortable standing for long periods, and can fulfill evening/weekend hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling and checkout experience helpful.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in finding products and providing solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Complete truck unloading and stocking, including planograms (POGs).
• Maintain store appearance and recovery standards to support brand promises.
• Support Omni channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in in-store campaigns, rewards programs and customer engagement activities.
