Explor Crater Lake, LLC is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead daily dining operations, guest service, and staff development at our location. You will recruit, train, and supervise team members while ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

This role requires 5+ years in hospitality with 3+ years in leadership, familiarity with POS systems, budgeting, menu planning, and compliance with liquor regulations; strong communication and multi-tasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hospitality experience.
• 3+ years of restaurant manager or leadership experience.
• Current food handler’s card and other required certifications.
• Familiar with point-of-sale computers and software.
• Comfortable using a computer, navigating Windows, MS Office, and Outlook Email.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Pleases customers by providing a pleasant dining experience.
• Leads HR objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, supervising, and disciplining employees; communicating expectations.
• Achieves restaurant objectives by contributing to plans, budgets, audits, and standard setting.
• Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, and analyzing variances.
• Plans menus by consulting with chefs and estimating costs and profits.
• Controls costs by portion control, waste reduction, and ensuring quality.
• Ensures compliance with liquor regulations and safety standards.
• Maximizes bar profitability by monitoring portions and charges accuracy.
• Publicizes the restaurant through advertising, outreach to editors, and local partnerships.
• Maintains a safe environment by sanitation standards and regulatory compliance.
• Maintains ambiance through lighting, music, dining ware, and presentation quality.
• Updates knowledge by education and professional networking.
• Enhances department reputation by ownership and exploring value-added opportunities.
