Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for the PACU department. This is a temporary seasonal role through the end of the year, offering opportunities to work in a six OR facility with extensive imaging and supportive teams.

Responsibilities include implementing care plans, ensuring patient safety, and providing education to patients and families. TX RN license, BLS; ACLS/PALS within 30 days, and at least 2 years in critical care or PACU are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Texas RN License with BLS; ACLS and PALS within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum two years’ experience as an RN in a critical care or PACU setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care within the RN scope and hospital policies.
• Implements nursing care plans and physician orders with ongoing assessment.
• Responds promptly to emergencies and manages post-procedure pain and comfort.
• Documents education provided to patients and families; uses electronic records.
