Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington is hiring a Seasonal Registered Nurse for our PACU department. This seasonal role runs through the end of 2026 and is based in Arlington, TX.

Under supervision, the RN will implement post-anesthesia care plans, coordinate care, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Experience in PACU or preop settings is preferred, with current Texas RN license and CPR/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas Nursing License.
• CPR and ACLS required; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Post Anesthesia Care record and nursing care plan.
• Assimilate patient hospital records and follow physician orders.
• Ensure continuity and quality nursing care with focus on patient safety and comfort.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms as needed, with sterile technique.

Education
