Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington in Arlington, TX, is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse for our PACU department. You will implement the Post An anesthesia Care record and nursing care plan under the Pre-op/PACU Director.

This role requires a current Texas Nursing License, CPR/ACLS, and at least two years in a hospital setting; two years in Critical Care preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas Nursing License.
• Current CPR, ACLS; PALS preferred.
• Minimum of two years' hospital experience; CCU experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and knowledge of aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Post Anesthesia Care record and nursing care plan.
• Follow physician orders and ensure continuity and quality nursing care.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile technique.
