Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for the PACU department in Trophy Club, TX. The role is temporary seasonal through the end of the year, with duties including direct PACU care, coordination with surgeons and anesthesia, and ongoing patient safety and education.

The ideal candidate has a Texas RN license, BLS and is prepared to obtain ACLS and PALS within 30 days of hire, with minimum two years in critical care or PACU.

Qualifications

• RN license in Texas required or pending licensure
• BSN preferred
• ACLS and PALS within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in PACU per RN scope and physician orders
• Collaborate with surgical team and anesthesia for patient care
• Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies
• Educate patients and families
• Maintain aseptic technique and patient safety
