HIRING RATE: $15.44 Hourly

FULL HIRING RANGE: $15.44 - $18.92 Hourly

This position aims to facilitate the provision of recreational activities for City citizens by providing customer service at athletic facilities. Duties include registering citizens for classes, camps, and activities; processing POS transactions; registering citizens for memberships; assisting in opening and closing duties; maintaining the facility; supervising and maintaining the climbing wall; providing administrative services; and interfacing with other City employees and citizens. This position does not provide supervisory responsibilities.

• Provides customer service support by greeting customers, conducting tours of Ford Pool, answering phones, and supporting front desk operations.
• Registers citizens for classes, camps, and activities using membership software, entering data, processing payments, and providing facility information.
• Processes POS transactions using ACTIVE Software, recording sales and payments.
• Registers citizens for memberships, ensuring paperwork is complete, data entry, and payments are processed.
• Assists in opening and closing facilities, managing cash, and reconciling transactions.
• Maintains the facility by reporting issues, coordinating repairs, and handling customer complaints.
• Provides administrative support, assists with marketing materials, supplies, and special events.

Education & Experience

Broad knowledge in a professional or technical field. Typically:

• High School diploma or equivalent with no prior relevant experience.

Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Certification & Requirements

• Valid Class C Driver's License
• CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within three months of employment

Work Schedule

• Flexible schedule including afternoons, weekends, and holidays. Hours may be adjusted as needed.

Physical Demands

• Light exertion, up to 20 lbs. occasionally, 10 lbs. frequently, or negligible amounts constantly. Requires walking or standing.

Reading, Math, and Writing skills are at an intermediate level, typically obtained through high school or college education, or experience.
