Omaha Steaks, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Quality Assurance Tech in Papillion, NE.

You will monitor product temperatures, cold-storage conditions, and handling practices to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include daily thermometer calibrations, temperature documentation, and inspections of shipping, packing, and storage areas to identify deficiencies and drive corrective actions.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail to identify discrepancies and quality concerns.
• Ability to remain calm and communicate effectively in challenging situations.
• Understands proper product handling and cold-storage requirements for food safety.
• Ability to monitor and record product and facility temperatures and perform thermometer calibrations.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor product temperatures and cold-storage conditions throughout the facility.
• Calibrate testing thermometers daily and document results.
• Record temperatures in designated areas and outside cold-storage environments.
• Inspect handling practices and communicate issues to management.
• Ensure tote and lane systems meet time and zone requirements.
• Verify product labels and date codes for legibility and accuracy.
