Job summary

Five Below is seeking an Interim Support Lead in Michigan to join our store leadership team. You will report to the Store Manager and supervise front end operations, cash handling, merchandising, cleanliness, and safety while performing Manager On Duty responsibilities during assigned shifts.

This temporary role offers leadership experience during peak periods or to cover a leave of absence, with duties including training associates, opening/closing the store, onboarding new hires, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew provides WOW customer service at checkout and floor.
• Train crew on BEST customer service experiences for fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent service.
• Assist with receiving and stocking to speed up merchandising.
• Act as Manager on Duty during shifts and handle store operations.
• Open/close procedures including cash handling and security.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and manage expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and recovery processes.
• Perform routine store maintenance and upkeep.
