Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven ability to operate a forklift safely.

• Must pass the minimum fit for duty physical (annually).
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime including weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand 8–12 hours daily.
• Manufacturing/production experience preferred, basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform a safety check of equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Perform daily assignments as directed by team Group Leader or Supervisor.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards in assigned area.
• Safely operate a forklift to transport materials.
• Ensure stocks of needed materials are ready and available at all times.
• Learn multiple pieces of automated equipment and move to different work stations daily.
• Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors about production line performance.
• Perform manufacturing inspection protocols to ensure plant quality standards on granular packaging products.
• Adhere to plant safety rules and programs for self and associates.
