Job summary

Scotts Miracle-Gro is seeking a production associate to support daily manufacturing tasks. You will perform safety checks on equipment, safely operate a forklift to move materials, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Your role includes ensuring materials are stocked and ready for the line while communicating effectively with peers and supervisors. Applicants should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work overtime including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read and write English and follow instructions.
• Basic math, mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Teamwork and effective communication with peers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Perform a safety check of the equipment to ensure it is safe to operate.
• Operate forklift to transport materials and move to different work stations.
• Keep work area clean and maintain good housekeeping standards.
• Support daily production line assignments and communicate performance to supervisors.
• Assist with ensuring stock of needed materials is ready and available.
