Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington in Arlington, TX is seeking a Seasonal PreOp Registered Nurse to support Pre-Anesthesia Care. This role requires nursing care planning, patient assessment, and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a current Texas RN license, CPR and ACLS certs, with PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas Nursing License.
• Current CPR, ACLS; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Pre Anesthesia Care record and nursing care plan with assimilation of the patient’s hospital record.
• Ensure continuation and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of condition, safety, comfort and privacy.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks including conscious sedation and sterile technique when deemed appropriate.
