Beam Living is seeking a Seasonal Porter to join our team in New York, NY. You will maintain a safe, clean building and provide friendly service to residents, delivering reliable support to the property operations.

The role requires 0–2 years of related work experience, a valid NY driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will use a tablet-based work order system and collaborate with a team to uphold our standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Reliability: available for the 90 days this position runs.
• Valid photo identification and work authorization paperwork.
• Valid New York State driver’s license enrolled in LENS program.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to use a tablet-based work order system.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean building and property.
• Perform janitorial duties in common areas and lobby.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents.
• Receive deliveries, unpack and store maintenance equipment and materials.
• Additional duties may be assigned by your Supervisor.
