Job summary

Kings Card Club is seeking a seasonal part-time Line Cook to join our kitchen team in Stockton. The role focuses on knowledge of the menu, proper food handling, and timely preparation of dishes while supporting plating, prep, and dishwashing tasks as needed.

The position requires availability nights, weekends and holidays, with duties including maintaining station setup, communicating inventory needs, and ensuring food quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Two or more years in the kitchen/food service industry.
• Must be SERV SAFE certified.
• Must be able to understand, read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all menu food items according to recipes.
• Maintain proper station setup and mise en place throughout service.
• Communicate low stock or product needs promptly to management or prep staff.
• Ensure Kitchen cooking areas are fully stocked.
• Provide dishwashing support as needed to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
• Assist with prep work such as washing, chopping, portioning, or storing ingredients as assigned.
• Communicate with Front of The House to ensure orders are correct and served properly.
