Qualifications

• One year or more of teaching or working with children in a field-based environment.
• Undergraduate degree in biology, education, environmental education, environmental science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Commitment to conservation of birds, wildlife and habitats.

Responsibilities

• Lead field-based, classroom and virtual environmental education programs on Pickering Creek’s 450 acres and at schools and partner sites.
• Serve as a role model naturalist and environmental steward for students, teachers, community and public audiences.
• Collaborate with staff to plan and implement programs.
