Job summary

Scotts Miracle-Gro is seeking a Seasonal Associate for the Supply Chain team at the world headquarters in Marysville, Ohio. This position involves forklift operation, daily task execution, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a production environment.

You will work with a team, perform repetitive motions, and be prepared for overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. The hourly pay starts at $21.00 per hour with weekly pay and opportunities to learn multiple automated systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to operate forklift and handle repetitive tasks.
• Ability to read and write English and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily assignments as directed by team Group Leader or Supervisor.
• Safety check of equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain good housekeeping in assigned area.
• Safely operate a forklift to transport materials.
• Ensure stocks of materials are ready and available at all times.
• Learn multiple pieces of automated equipment and move between workstations daily.
• Communicate performance details to peers and supervisors about the production line.
• Follow plant safety rules and programs.
