Job summary

Scotts Miracle-Gro is seeking a Seasonal Associate to join the Supply Chain team in Marysville, Ohio. The role is based at our world headquarters and involves performing daily production tasks, safety checks, equipment operation, and maintaining housekeeping.

You will learn multiple pieces of automated equipment, communicate with peers and supervisors, and participate in quality inspections of granular packaging products and display units.

Qualifications

• Must pass the minimum fit for duty physical (annually).
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime including weekends and holidays.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of one plus years of production plant experience is preferred.
• Able to lift 50 pounds, and be on their feet for 8-12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily assignments as directed by team Group Leader or Supervisor.
• Performs a safety check of the equipment to ensure it is safe to operate.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards in their assigned area.
• Safely operate a forklift to transport materials.
• Ensure stocks of needed materials are ready and available at all times.
• Learn multiple pieces of automated equipment and move to different work stations daily.
• Communicate with peers and supervisors regarding production line performance.
• Perform manufacturing inspection protocols to ensure plant quality standards.
