Sports Basement is seeking a seasonal Staffer to lead a zone/department on the sales floor in Santa Rosa. You will work with the Lead and Management team to ensure daily tasks are completed, delegate roles, and uphold the Sports Basement brand while delivering WOW customer service.

You will train staff, maintain open communication, and stay aligned with department goals. This role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and a positive, engaging store presence.

Competenze

• Previous retail or industry experience.
• Desire to grow into a leadership role.
• Passionate sports or outdoor enthusiast is a plus.
• Ability to create a WOW experience for every customer.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Basic computer skills
• Flexibility and adaptability as role day to day might change.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds, bend down repeatedly, and stand for the majority of a shift.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Time management and problem-solving skills.
• Awareness of business tools including Google Docs, Shopify, POS systems, Winterstieger, Sales Saver, Lightspeed and Fiori (training available).
• Available to work during operating hours including most weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

• Identify merch priorities with lead/manager and plan actions.
• Collaborate with merchandising to create zone displays.
