Job summary

UPS is seeking a Seasonal Supervisor to lead and develop workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance at our Connecticut facility. This role sets high standards for accuracy, customer service, organization and teamwork while fostering a proactive, inclusive culture.

You will train new and current staff, ensure adherence to safety policies, manage resources for maximum output, and coach employees for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred; Management experience - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed and department operations comply with all requirements.
• Manages resources to maximize output, accuracy and efficiency; promotes teamwork and continuous improvement.
