Job summary

Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation seeks an On-Site Seasonal Ticketing Associate to support the Marketing team during NYC Center’s peak season. This on-site role focuses on group sales, box office support, and inventory management, with occasional ticket holds and VIP inquiries.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in ticketing, Tessitura experience preferred, and excellent customer service under pressure. Availability for six days per week, including nights and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in box office or ticketing role.
• Experience with Tessitura; Salesforce preferred.
• Excellent customer service and organization.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site ticketing liaison at NYC Center during the season.
• Issue invoices and coordinate reminders for Group Sales.
• Coordinate and manage ticketing inventory with Box Office and internal teams.
• Execute ticket holds and releases with the Box Office to manage seats.
• Provide on-site support at performances, handling inquiries from patrons, donors, and VIPs.
• Process and track special requests from internal staff and external high-value contacts.
• Perform other related duties to ensure a smooth season.
