Job summary

Mauna Lani, part of the Auberge Collection, Hawaii, is seeking a Bartender for a temporary assignment from December 23, 2026 through January 6, 2027. The base pay is $27.81 hourly and you will be a key player in the vibrant dining and bar operation.

As a bartender, you will assist guests, demonstrate knowledge of drinks, maintain standards, and ensure safe service. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required, TB clearance may be needed.

Qualifications

• One year in the foodservice/hospitality industry as Bartender preferred.
• Knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine; luxury property experience preferred.
• Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Superior professional appearance and manner, good character for fast-paced team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain relevant state/local certifications (food handler, alcohol).
• Ability to obtain a TB clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with beverage and drink preparation and service.
• Relate with guests about needs and satisfaction with beverages.
• Be knowledgeable about drinks on the menu and standard offerings to assist guests.
• Comply with Mauna Lani Forbes standards in Bar and Restaurant outlets.
• Contribute to F&B sales by knowledge of drinks, cocktails, and prices.
• Take, place, and input orders into the Micros system accurately.
• Prepare the guest check and process payments as required.
• Operate, maintain, and clean bar equipment and fittings.
• Ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines.
