Job summary

Auberge Collection is seeking a Bartender for Mauna Lani during the festive season. The temporary position runs from December 23, 2026 through January 6, 2027, with a base hourly rate of $27.81.

You will be a key player in our vibrant establishment, crafting drinks and delivering heartfelt moments for guests in a luxury resort setting. Responsibilities include assisting guests, knowing menu offerings, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and ensuring timely service while upholding Forbes

Qualifications

• One year experience in foodservice/hospitality as a bartender preferred.
• Knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine.
• Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Professional appearance and manner for a fast-paced team.
• Ability to obtain state/local food handler/alcohol certifications and TB clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with beverage and drink preparation.
• Engage with guests to assess needs and ensure high-quality service.
• Know standard drinks and menu offerings to aid guest choices.
• Adhere to Mauna Lani Forbes standards in bar and restaurant operations.
• Help drive beverage sales by knowing drinks, cocktails, spirits, and specials.
• Accurately take and input orders into the Micros system and handle billing.
• Prepare checks and process payments as required.
• Maintain clean and functional bar equipment and ensure stock is well-kept.
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.

Job Description

This is a temporary position from December 23, 2026 through January 6, 2027 during the festive season.

The base salary for this position is $27.81 hourly.

Begin a rewarding journey with our team as a Bartender, a key player in our vibrant establishment, you will not just serve drinks; you will be the curator of heartfelt moments, an alchemist of flavors, and the heartbeat of our social haven.

• Assisting guests in beverage and drink preparation, servicing of the bar area and the restaurant in an efficient and timely manner
• Relate with guests about needs, satisfaction with the beverage and drinks, ensuring a consistently caring and high-quality service
• Be knowledgeable about the drink offerings mentioned in the menu as well as all standard drinks to assist guest in choosing their beverage based on likes/dislikes
• Comply with Mauna Lani / Forbes standards in use within the Bar and Restaurant outlets.
• Contribute to improving the F&B sales revenues by being knowledgeable about drinks, cocktails, spirits and other menu items, specials and prices
• Accurately and quickly, take and place orders and input them into the Micros system ensuring correct timing and billing
• Prepare the guest check accurately and collect payment or signature, as required
• Operate, maintain and properly clean all bar equipment and fittings
• Ensure that the bar is well-stocked at all times
• Use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment by using proper food-handling skills and food safety guidelines

Qualifications

• One year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry as a Bartender preferred.
• Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine. Experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred.
• Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Superior professional appearance and manner, good character to work in a fast-paced team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
• Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.
• Ability to obtain a TB Clearance.
