Job summary

SmithRx in Plano, TX is hiring for a customer support call center role focused on member interactions for pharmacy benefits. The role requires excellent communication, data entry, and empathy, with a 9-week onsite training period at the Plano office.

Initial training runs 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Mountain Time with 100% attendance. After training, you’ll transition to assigned shift hours, Monday–Friday with rotating weekend and holiday shifts, onsite required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a call center environment required.
• Must be located local to Plano, TX office; hybrid/work-from-home rotation available based on performance.
• Proficiency in Windows, MS Office, G-Suite required.
• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to members, physicians, and pharmacies to deliver a world-class member experience.
• Follow-up, resolve, and document issues related to member interactions; route inquiries for further investigation.
• Educate members about their pharmacy benefits.
• Aim for one-call resolution by becoming an expert in Pharmacy Benefits Management.
