Job summary

SmithRx in Plano, TX is seeking a Seasonal Inbound Call Center Representative to deliver world-class member support. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, educate members about pharmacy benefits, and document interactions with care.

This onsite role starts with a 9-week training block, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm MT, with ongoing shifts Monday through Friday and rotating weekends/holidays. You must have 2+ years in a call center and be local to Plano.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a call center environment required.
• Must be located local to the Plano, TX office; onsite work is required.
• Proficiency in Windows, MS Office, and G-Suite.
• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Active listening and empathetic communication skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud or Talkdesk is preferred.
• Prior experience with benefits or pharmacy-related services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to members, physicians, and pharmacies.
• Follow up, resolve, and document member issues; route complex inquiries.
• Educate members about their pharmacy benefits.
• Aim for one-call resolution by becoming an expert in Pharmacy Benefits Management.
• Maintain a patient-centric mindset with urgency in handling requests.
• Handle highly sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA.
