Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company’s Crystal Mountain Resort in Washington state is seeking a Parking Attendant (Part Time) to oversee vehicle flow and guest parking in busy lots. You will monitor counts, assist guests, and enforce parking rules using handheld systems, ensuring a safe, orderly experience for visitors.

Work is outdoors in varied weather, with evenings, weekends, and holidays required. Strong customer service and clear communication are essential to greet guests and resolve parking concerns.

Qualifications

• Outdoor parking experience in extreme weather conditions.
• Must be 15 or older.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, able to maximize use of time and resources provided to them.

Responsibilities

• Manage vehicles and traffic control at each entrance/exit within the Crystal Mountain Parking lots.
• Assist all customers with moving in and out of vehicles spots
• Provide guidance on parking within assigned lot
• Maintain daily count of all vehicles and report when required
• Maintain frequent communication with your parking supervisor
• Identify and report all customer violations to duty supervisor
• Perform patrols and assist visitors to locate their vehicle
• Manage and resolve all customer queries
• Setup and teardown of assigned lot
• Confirm, modify, and cancel parking reservations using handheld systems
• Greet guests and assist with directions or parking concerns
