Job summary

Sugarbush Resort is seeking two dispatchers in our Mountain Operations Department. This position serves as the hub for all resort emergencies and handles multiple communication forms, including phones and radios.

Full-time seasonal role with a pay range of $20-$22/hour depending on experience. Dispatchers coordinate with Ski Patrol, Lift Operations, and Lift Maintenance during emergencies and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to work weekends/holidays.
• Strong verbal and written communication in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to make quick, calm decisions during emergencies.
• Auditory/visual acuity to operate computers, phones, and radios.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate radio transmissions and phone communications.
• Coordinate responses to mountain emergencies and ski-patrol operations.
• Record lift openings/closings and disseminate information for Mountain Operations.
• Assist with daily dispatch duties in a fast-paced resort setting.
